What we collect, and what we don't.

Last updated 19 October 2026

The short version

  • We collect what the product needs to work: your email, your resume, and the job preferences you tell us.
  • We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with employers, recruiters, or data brokers.
  • There are no advertising or analytics trackers on this site. Not “anonymised” ones — none.
  • Your resume is sent to the AI providers listed below, because reading it is the product. Nowhere else.
  • Email [email protected] and we will delete your account and everything in it.

Who we are

JobAim is a product of Brizen, which is the trading name of Teamfill AI, LLC. Teamfill AI, LLC is the party responsible for the data described here. If you want to reach a person about any of it, write to [email protected].

What we collect

When you join the waitlist

Your email address, which is required, and your first and last name and how you heard about us, which are not. That is the whole record. We ask for no payment details at this stage and have no way to charge you.

When you have an account

Your name, email address and phone number; the resume you upload, both as the original file and as the structured fields we read out of it; and the job preferences you enter — role, location, compensation, and the rest. We also store the matches and analyses we generate for you, because they are what you came back to read.

When you report a problem

The description you write, and your IP address. The address is kept for abuse handling on that one form and is not attached to your browsing anywhere else on the site.

Logs and error reports

Our servers keep request logs, as any web server does, and they are used for debugging and keeping the service up.

When something breaks — on our servers, in the web app, or in the JobAim browser extension — a report goes to Sentry (listed below) so we can find and fix it. A report says what went wrong and where in our code, which browser and version, and the address of the page it happened on, without its query string. From the web app it also lists the few steps that led there — which of our pages you opened, which buttons you clicked, and which of our addresses the page called.

A report never contains your name, email address, phone number, resume, passwords or sign-in codes, or anything you typed into a form — email addresses are stripped out before a report leaves your browser or our servers — and nothing records your screen. The one thing that can identify you is an internal account number, which lets us find the account an error affected; it means nothing outside our own database. On someone else's site, such as a job board, the extension reports only its own errors, never the site's.

What we do with it

We use it to run the product: to read your resume, to find jobs that fit, to explain why a given job does or does not, and to email you about your account and your matches. We use aggregate, non-identifying figures to understand whether the matching is any good and to make it better.

We do not use your data to train our own models, and we do not build a profile of you for anyone other than you.

Who else processes it

Running this product means other companies handle some of your data on our behalf. Here is all of them, and what each one is for:

Google (Gemini API)
Parses resumes into structured fields and scores how well a job matches your profile.
Anthropic (Claude API)
Same class of work, on the parts of the pipeline where it performs better.
DeepSeek
Classifies job postings against our skill vocabulary. Only ever used for work on job data — never on your resume or anything else about you.
Brevo
Sends the email we send you, and holds the waitlist list itself.
Cloudflare
Sits in front of the site as DNS and proxy, so it handles the requests your browser makes.
Hetzner
Runs the servers and the database the application stores data in.
Bunny CDN
Serves images and logos. Static files only — no account data passes through it.
Sentry
Receives a report when something breaks — on our servers, in the web app, or in the browser extension — so we can fix it. Error reports only, with personal details left out: no name, email address, phone number, resume or anything you typed; no session recording; no IP addresses kept.

Each of these is a vendor doing a job we have asked them to do. None of them is buying your data, and none of them is given it for their own purposes. We use the AI providers on their paid API tiers specifically because those terms do not let them train on what we send — the free tiers of some of these services do, which is not a trade we were willing to make with your resume.

What we don't do

This section exists because most of what makes job hunting unpleasant online is done by companies that would not put it in writing.

  • We do not sell or rent your data. Not to recruiters, not to employers, not to data brokers, not to anyone, under any label.
  • We do not run advertising or analytics trackers. There is no ad pixel, no analytics tag and no session recorder on this site. You can confirm it in your browser's network tab.
  • We do not let anyone pay to rank higher in your matches. No employer sponsors a placement, and there is no promoted result.
  • We do not show your profile to employers without you deciding to. You are not in a searchable candidate database.
  • We do not email you things you did not ask for. Account and match email only, with an unsubscribe on anything that is not strictly transactional.

Cookies

We set two, both necessary and both first-party: one that keeps you signed in, and one that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. There are no third-party cookies, and nothing here follows you to other sites — which is why this site has no cookie banner asking you to consent to any.

How long we keep it

Waitlist entries are kept until we launch and invite you, or until you ask us to remove yours. Account data is kept while your account exists. When you ask us to delete it, we remove it from the live systems; copies can persist in backups until those rotate out.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and close your account. Email [email protected] and we will do it — there is no self-serve delete button yet, so for now a person handles this, which also means you can ask us a question in the same message.

Depending on where you live you may have stronger rights than that, including under the GDPR or the CCPA. We will honour them. We do not ask you to prove you live somewhere before we will.

Children

JobAim is for adults looking for work and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data, and will delete it if we learn we have.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what happens to your data, we will email you before it takes effect rather than quietly moving the date at the top. Smaller corrections will just update the date.
