# JobAim

JobAim is a browser extension that checks a job posting against your
resume while you read it: which requirements you meet, which you don't,
and what to change in the resume. It is made by Brizen, a technology
company in New York, NY, and is at https://www.jobaim.io.

Served at /agents.md and /llms.txt. The pages below say the same in full;
this file is the short form for an agent reading on someone's behalf.

## What it does

- On a job posting, the extension reads the posting and scores it against
the person's resume and preferences: a match level (Top Match, Strong
Match, Potential Match, Likely Mismatch), the must-have and nice-to-have
requirements met and missed, and resume suggestions for that posting.
- It detects postings on common job boards by itself; on other sites the
person points at the description, or pastes it.
- The website holds the account, the resume builder and editor (templates,
inline feedback, PDF download) and the history of analyses.
- It does not apply to jobs, does not list jobs, and does not show
employers or recruiters anything about the person.

## Where it runs

- Desktop browsers built on Chromium: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera,
Vivaldi. Installed from the Chrome Web Store. Firefox and Safari are not
  supported yet.
- The website works in any modern browser, desktop or mobile; the editor
is best on a desktop screen.
- An account is required. The extension signs in with the website's session.

## Pricing

A free trial, then a one-time pass: 1 month $30, 2 months $50, 3 months
$60. No subscription. Current prices are on https://www.jobaim.io/#pricing.
Renewal is opt-in by the customer.

## For agents

- There is no public API. Everything under /api/ is for the website and
the extension, authenticated by the person's session.
- Nothing on the site should be submitted on a person's behalf except
the waitlist or sign-up forms, when the person asked for that.
